VF-5ht UltiMetal™: Stabilized Liquid Phase稳定的固定相
Phase stability is a major requirement for high temperature GC. In comparison with several commercially available high temperature GC columns (based on a 5% phenyl, 95% polydimethylsiloxane phase), the lowest bleed performance and the shortest stabilization time is achieved by VF-5ht UltiMetal.
VF-5ht UltiMetal™: Crosslinking先进的交联技术
In GC columns, crosslinking in the stationary phase makes it more stable at higher temperatures, resulting in low column bleed. However, too many crosslinks make the stationary phase less liquid, giving rise to degraded peak shapes even for inactive compounds such as alkanes. Varian’s advanced phase chemistry keeps the stationary phase of the VF-5ht UltiMetal very stable, without limiting chromatographic performance. An example of the superiority of the column is apparent in the analysis of Polywax® 655, with excellent peak shape of the components eluting at higher temperature.
 The basis of the VF–5ht UltiMetal is a stainless steel capillary – extremely durable when operating at high temperatures.
Varian’s UltiMetal technology renders the stainless steel inert and enhances the bonding of the stationary phase.
The result is long column lifetime with excellent peak shape and low column bleed for the best detection limits at high temperatures.
The UltiMetal column provides the highest signal to noise ratio and greatest productivity,
so you can be very confident in having the best experimental results and the lowest cost per analysis.
