提高灵敏度
色谱柱的柱流失越低,检测灵敏度就越高。这不仅仅是对于质谱(MS)的使用者,对于拥有ECD、NPD、TSD、
FID、PDD、AED以及PID等检测器的实验室来说,越高的灵敏度,就意味着越低的检测限,以及痕量和超痕量分析的可能。一般来说,FactorFour和其他“低流失柱”相比,灵敏度高出两倍以上。

对GC/MS用户而言,使用低流失色谱柱是分析工作的保证。图2中我们可以看到,从普通质谱柱中流出的痕量物质难以被分析和确认;而采用 FactorFour色谱柱,由于有非常低的柱流失率,大大降低了噪声指标,得到了更低的检测下限。我们可以轻松的对流出的痕量化合物进行准确定性定量分析。没有一款色谱柱有FactorFour这样好的准确性,灵敏度和再现性。FactorFour,是您实验室的最佳选择!

稳定快速
FactorFour超低流失毛细管柱可以快速地进行老化处理,快速地达到稳定。这对于一个实验室来说,真正地提高了工作效率。不仅是用到了最好的色谱柱,而且在固定的时间里可以完成比往常更多的分析工作。(图5)

改善谱图的完整性
当一位GC/MS实验人员得到分析谱图后,都会在标准谱库中进行检索,以期拿到正确的分析结果。而这种检索往往都是按照一定的规则自动进行的。如果我们使用有较高流失的色谱柱,柱流失物产生的干扰就会明显地增加,对于我们做痕量化合物分析鉴定工作(GC/MS)会产生很大的阻碍。如果您使用 FactorFour色谱柱,我们就能够把这样的干扰降到最低限。也就是说,通常色谱柱所产生的极少的流失物,如聚二甲基硅氧烷等-通常在m/z 73、207和281,不会影响到最终谱图在谱库中的检索过程,从而可以得到所要检测化合物的正确信息。所以说,柱流失越低,所产生的干扰离子对分析结果的影响就越低,分析结果就会更加真实可靠。(图3)

更长的色谱柱寿命
色谱柱使用到一定程度后,就不会有正常的表现了。这是因为色谱柱内键合相(固定相)的脱落。
FactorFour采用特殊的键合技术,使得色谱柱的流失程度降至最低,延长了色谱柱的使用寿命,减少了分析实验工作的成本。(图4)

*VF-1MS:相当于DB-1MS、HP-1MS等GC柱和GC-MS柱,适用于烃类、胺类、酚类、农药、PCBs、挥发油、硫化物、二恶英等的分析。

*VF-5MS:相当于DB-5MS、HP-5MS等GC柱和GC-MS柱,适用于药物、芳烃类、酚、酯、生物碱、卤代烃、挥发油、杀虫剂等的分析

*VF-Xms:相当于AGILENT的DB-XLB柱。独特的固定相,是高亚芳基改性的低极性柱(比VF-5MS的极性稍强),使得它可以在高达340摄氏度条件下得到很低的基线。适用于农药、杀虫剂、PCBs、PAH、邻苯二甲酸酯类等的分析。

*VF-17MS:相当于DB-17MS等中等极性柱。适用于药物、农药、甾类等分析。(可达360度的应用上限)

*VF-35MS:相当于HP-35MS和DB-35MS,中等极性,但是经过高度灭活,很适合环境分:可用于分析有机氯、有机磷农药;EPA方法挥发性卤代物,EPA方法亚硝胺分析等。

*VF-200MS:相当于DB-200和 RTX-200,但是流失更低,耐温更高(可达350度),寿命更长。独特的极性柱,很适合取代芳香化合物的分析,如农业化学分析。对含硝基、卤素、羰基的化合物有独特的选择性。

*VF-23MS:相当于DB-23SP-2330和 RTX-2330,但是流失更低,寿命更长。由于采用100%的固化技术,它可以用绝大部分溶剂冲洗,而不引起固定液流失。特别适合FAME脂肪酸甲酯的分析。

*VF-DA:专用于痕量滥用药物分析(drugs of abuse)如尿液中的滥用药物的分析。由于VF-DA的超低流失,使痕量分析成为可能。


*VF-WAXms极性质谱毛细管柱:选择性和一般WAX(PEG20M)柱类似;超低流失带来的高灵敏    度,更高的信噪比;可以用于GC/MS的分析
